I’ve found they both work, although you need almost double the vaped bud (depends on severity of vaping. I now only vape one or two giant volcano bags before putting it in a saved for cannabutter container) to equal that of fresh bud.

i was throwing away my vape remains for the 1st couple days then started saving for a week. Then I saw this. Figured I already got my use out of the bud (mids-commercial) and a stcik of butter is cheap. So, viola.. and WOW… i quite SMOKING all this week. Just eat a pc. of garlick toast for b-fast. I’m buzzed by the time i get to work and still cranking when i get home 12 hours later. Don’t know if it lasts longer cuz i want more when i get home. NOT SURE IF COOKING STRAIGHT BUDS INTO BUTTER WILL WORK AS WELL OR BETTER.
